Calendar Contest!

Here’s an outstanding opportunity to make your Pyr a STAR among STARS by entering our 2026 Pyrfect Pictures Calendar Contest! Let your Pyr pictures do the “barking” and, at the same time, help us continue to fulfill our mission of providing education, outreach, support and homes for Great Pyrenees located in New England, New York and New Jersey.

Enter the contest! Click the button to submit your favorite picture of your Pyr(s) for a chance to be on the cover, or featured on a month. Each entry is $10.

Contest Details

The Pyr picture with the most votes WINS the contest and will become the “cover” Pyr for our 2026 calendar! The winner will also receive a FREE copy of the calendar mailed to them, as well as infinite bragging rights! The Pyr pictures that receive the next 12 highest votes in descending order will each star on its very own calendar month. The remaining open blocks at the end of each calendar month will be filled with Pyr photos that received the next highest votes in descending order until all available blocks are filled.

Contest Rules

• Your Great Pyrenees does not have to be adopted through NEPR or any other rescue organization to participate. If you love this breed, then your Pyr can be a part of this contest!

• While we love all dogs, this contest is limited to Great Pyrenees only, not Pyr-mixes.

• There is no limit on photo submissions.

• Photos may contain more than one Great Pyrenees, but only Great Pyrenees, no other pets, domestic wildlife, or humans should be included. We want your Great Pyrenees to be the star!

• Photos must be full color, not filtered, edited or altered or contain any digital overlays, photo stickers, doodles or digital effects.

• Photos containing a professional photographer watermark cannot be included.

• When submitting a photo, be sure to use the highest resolution setting on your phone or camera.

• Copyrighted photos may only be included with the written permission of the copyright holder attached.

• Photos submitted become the property of the Northeast Great Pyr Rescue and can be used in future fundraising campaigns, on our website and/or Facebook page.

• Northeast Great Pyr Rescue reserves the right to decline publication of any photograph for any reason. Should this happen, you will be notified.
